We leant customer and writer PXPete a Enduristan Hurricane 15L to review and put though its paces. Here's what he thought about its features.
The Enduristan Hurricane 15L is the only rucksack I've had that's proven itself as truly waterproof. I've ridden with it through torrential rain and even left it sat in a stream for a while, with running water below the zip level and it remained bone dry within.
Overall use of the bag is extremely practical and the details are clearly very well thought through.
The pocket for the optional Hydrapak is on the outside back of the bag, which means it is easy to access and also makes perfect sense that it is kept separate from your belongings.
Delightfully comfortable back padding and shoulder straps make it ideal for long days in the saddle.
The chest and waist straps connect with rugged buckles that are convenient to use with gloves. These straps feature fabric loops allowing you to attach accessories, I highly recommend the use of an Enduristan small Add Pack on the chest strap for quick and easy access to small items.
The various features on the outside of the bag all come in handy such as the strong carry handle, adjustable compression straps with buckles, an adjustable bungee cord and various mesh pockets.
The main zip on this bag is a serious bit of kit with an appropriately large pull for use with gloves and is supplied with a tube of silicone grease to keep the zip lubricated.
Within the bag there are zipped pockets, small organisation loops and a buckle key ring that clips into the bag, stopping your keys from getting lost at the bottom.
The personalised patch is a really cool addition, which can be ordered for free from Enduristan after purchase of the bag.
The Hurricane rucksack really has been the unquestionable answer to my search for a practical and waterproof adventure riding rucksack, I couldn't be happier with it.
